Casks for a Cause- Cat’s Cradle
May 17 @ 5:00 pm - 11:00 pm
May’s Cask for a Cause will be benefiting Cat’s Cradle, a nonprofit cat rescue, specializing in cat adoptions, spay/neuter assistance, and helping people keep their animal companions.
Cat’s Cradle’s mission is to ensure and maintain a safe, compassionate community for cats in the Shenandoah Valley.
They do this by facilitating and promoting spay/neuter and Trap, Neuter and Return (TNR), conduct foster-based rescue and adoption from local shelters, and provide pet retention and rehoming programs. Their intent is to steadily decrease the intake of cats and kittens at local shelters and to ultimately end the euthanasia of healthy adoptable pets in the communities they serve, including Augusta, Page, and Rockingham counties.
In addition, Cat’s Cradle will be bringing out some friendly felines for you to meet that need to find their forever homes. They are also planning some other fun activities for the evening.
Baja Burrito will be out for dinner, so make sure that you come hungry! Their menu includes burrito bowls and street tacos with a variety of proteins, extras, and salsas so you can have the perfect combination for your palate!
Weather permitting, we will enjoy the evening outside with our weekly By the Fire Fridays campfire and FREE S’mores building station. The fire will be lit around 7 pm with the S’mores station starting around 7:30.
Come out to help out this wonderful cause by buying a pint from their cask and participating in the silent auction for the framed poster for the event. All proceeds from the cask and the silent auction will go to Cat’s Cradle and their cause.
